Shana Figueroa is an American writer, director, and editor who specializes in horror and comedy. She spent twenty years in the US Air Force as a commander and aerospace engineer, and in her spare time wrote seven novels and a dozen short stories. After retiring from the military at the ripe age of 41, Shana used her extensive leadership skills, unique life experiences, and storytelling mastery to start a new chapter of her life in filmmaking, proving it’s never too late to reinvent yourself.
Doing business as FigTastic Films, Shana is currently creating her own short films as well as collaborating with other likeminded filmmakers and artists. She also offers specialty editing services under the moniker FigTastic Films Edits.
